Teacher's Pest
The title of my book is Teacher's Pest.
The author is Max Dann.
The illustrator is Stephen Axelsen.
The story is about a boy who hates his new teacher. The teacher never laughs and hates jokes. One day the teacher moves into a house down the street from him.
The main characters are: Clark who is a little boy. Clark was always too scared to go to school. Sometimes he pretended he was sick. He liked to eat radish and beetroot sandwiches and he liked to tell jokes. The other character is Mr Grimwraither. He is Clarks teacher and is mean and nasty. He never smiles and does'nt believe in excursions.
The story takes place at Clarks school and his street where he lives. When Mr Grimwraither moved into the house two doors away from Clarks house Clark tried to stay at home as much as he could. One day Clark disguised himself and walked past Mr Grimwraither's house. Clark heard a scream and turned around to see Mr Grimwraither hanging from a second story window ledge by his finger tips. Clark dragged the couch out under the window and Mr Grimwraither fell onto it. Mr Grimwraither thanked Clark for saving his life.
The story ends with Mr Grimwraither and Clark becoming friends. Clark found out they had lots of things in common, like beetroot and their birthdays were only ten days apart.
I give this book 8/10. It is very funny.
